I don’t know about you, but I’m not a huge fan of fall. I’m not sure when my fear of germs started, but I find it has gotten so much worse now that I’m a mother, and while I would love to bathe my sweet bear in bleach a million times a day to avoid her getting sick, I try really hard to let her be a kid without hovering over her with antibacterial wipes in my hands.

The good news is that I’m a pretty resourceful person, and after poking around on Pinterest, I’ve found some great natural cold and flu remedies for kids that should help give her some relief when she’s feeling poorly. And since I know I’m not the only parent who struggles to get meds into her children (and who isn’t a fan of medicine to begin with), I thought I’d share my favorites with all of you.

But before I do that, I do want to remind you that I am NOT a doctor and urge you to consult your pediatrician or GP before using any of these remedies on your kids (or yourself!).

Good luck and here’s to a happy and healthy fall and winter!
