If you're looking for boredom busters for toddlers and/or for kids in preschool, these shaving cream activities are a must-try! They offer a simple way for your kids to test out different textures while developing their fine motor skills. Learning has never been so fun!

My daughter recently started to tolerate arts and crafts.

She scribbles with crayons and markers.

She creates masterpieces with watercolors.

She sits patiently with me while we try to cut shapes out of construction paper.

And if I slap a bunch of glue onto a piece of paper, she’s more than happy to place pom poms, tissue paper, feathers, and pipe cleaners on top.

It’s pretty cool.

But the moment she gets anything sticky on her hands, whatever activity we’re doing comes to a screeching halt so I can remove the offending mess from her body.

Now, this little issue of hers is no big deal when we’re goofing around at home, but when she refused to partake in pumpkin carving at preschool a few weeks ago, I decided it was time for an intervention. So I spent some time searching for shaving cream activities for kids, and before I knew it, I had a complete list of ridiculously fun things for the 2 of us to do together. And since I know I’m not the only mom out there who is constantly on the hunt for boredom busters, I had to share them with all of you.
