I’ve been using Vichy Pureté Thermale 3-in-1 makeup remover for YEARS now, and while I love that it can remove all of my makeup in one sweep without causing breakouts or irritating my sensitive skin, I’m not always a fan of the price. And since I’m on an all-natural kick lately, I’ve been on the hunt for some acne-friendly DIY makeup removers I can make using products I have at home.

I love all of Michelle Phan’s tutorials because she REALLY knows her stuff, and this one is no different. If you’re weary of DIY makeup removers causing you to break out, she will totally put your mind at rest, and I can tell you from experience that her DIY makeup remover works on waterproof makeup!
2. DIY Makeup Remover for Acne Prone Skin by Ela Gale / A DIY Life
This tutorial has 2 fantastic DIY makeup remover recipes, but I especially love the first one as I always have both ingredients in my fridge. Who knew makeup removal could be so easy and cheap?!
3. DIY Makeup Remover by Polished
If you love coconut oil, you will love the 2nd DIY makeup remover recipe in this tutorial!
4. Natural Eye Makeup Remover by Michelle Phan

I saw Talia on The Ellen DeGeneres Show a couple of years ago, and when I stumbled upon her tutorial on YouTube, I had to share it. On July 16, 2013, Talia lost her battle with cancer.
