A lot of people want to make healthy habits so they can live healthier lives, but that can be harder than it sounds. Some people find it hard to break bad habits and make good ones.
But it doesn’t have to be too much. The little things and changes can sometimes have the biggest impact on your health and well-being.
You might think that to get better health and well-being, you need to make big changes to your diet or work out for an hour every day. But that’s not true.

You can do simple things to make your health better. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try to reach harder health goals. But starting with simple healthy habits is a great way to begin living a healthier life.
Simple, healthy habits can make a big difference in your health and give you the drive to reach your bigger health goals in the future.
For most of my life, I was very sick. I ate a lot of junk food, didn’t drink much water, and never worked out. Eventually, it all caught up with me.
In 2018, I was told I had an autoimmune disease. I don’t know if my bad habits caused my disease, but I do know they didn’t help things.
It was hard for me to make big changes in my life. The best thing that helped me was starting with small, simple changes and working my way up to the much bigger ones.

Five simple healthy habits that will change your health
If you want to live a healthier life but don’t know where to start or feel like you can’t handle it, these five simple healthy habits are a good place to start.
1. Drink more water
If you drink more water every day, it can have a big effect on your life. It can help you lose weight and give you more energy.
If you want to live a healthier life, I suggest drinking a glass of cold water instead of soda or coffee. Drink a lot of water all day long. Most experts say you should drink half of your body weight in ounces every day.
But don’t forget that the quality of your water is very important! There are more than 300 chemicals and pollutants that could get into your drinking water. You should make sure that your drinking water is free of toxins and full of minerals.
2 | Enjoy the Sun
Don’t forget how strong the sun is! You should spend at least 20 to 60 minutes every day in the sun without sunscreen.
When your skin gets some sun, your body makes hormone D, which is also known as vitamin D. Hormone D can help you feel better, give you more energy, boost your immune system, and do a lot more.
And the best part is that it doesn’t cost anything! There is no cost for sunshine.
Don’t forget how strong the sun can be, as I said before. It’s very strong and important for your health. Most people don’t spend enough time in the sun.
And when they’re outside, they usually have on sunblock, which keeps the sun from getting through their skin and stops the production of hormone D.
When you are in the sun, your body makes more serotonin, a hormone that makes you feel better and helps you stay calm and focused. This is why sunlight can help with depression, anxiety, and Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD).
Sunlight helps the body’s internal clock (circadian rhythm) work better, which makes sleep better. Getting natural light during the day helps keep your sleep-wake cycle healthy by making you more alert during the day and helping you sleep better at night.
Sunlight gives you vitamin D, which is very important for your immune system and helps your body fight infections and illnesses better.
That being said, a healthy body will respond to sun exposure differently than an unhealthy body.
A person’s diet has a huge impact on whether or not they can sunbathe without getting burned.
You should slowly get used to being in the sun without sunscreen if you aren’t used to it.
I’m not saying you should be in the sun all day, especially during the hottest part of the day.
It is also very important to heal your body from the inside out and practice safe sun exposure so that you can spend a lot of time in the sun.
The sun is a great way to heal, but it’s also very strong. It’s all about moderation, even with good things.
3 | Go for a walk
Some people are scared off from living a healthy life by the thought of sticking to a strict workout plan. That’s why it’s best to start with something easier when you want to live a healthier life.
One of the easiest and most accessible forms of exercise is walking. It has many health benefits for both the body and the mind.
Walking every day can help lower blood pressure, improve circulation, and lower the risk of stroke and heart disease. It’s a great way to improve heart health without having to do a lot of hard exercise.
Walking, especially in nature, can help lower stress, anxiety, and depression by making you relax and raising your levels of serotonin and endorphins, which are chemicals that make you feel better.
Walking can also speed up your metabolism, which helps you lose fat and makes it easier for your body to break down food and nutrients.
Make a promise to walk for 30 to 60 minutes every day. That can lower your blood sugar, give you more energy, make your immune system work better, make your heart stronger, and so much more!
And once more, it’s completely free!

4 | Have some fresh juice
It’s easy to get a lot of vitamins and minerals into your body by drinking fresh juice. A lot of these nutrients can help keep the body safe from cancer and other diseases that cause inflammation.
Fresh juices, especially those made from fruits and vegetables high in prebiotics, like apples, bananas, and leafy greens, can help gut health by feeding good bacteria.
Many fruits and vegetables used in juicing have polyphenols, flavonoids, and other bioactive compounds that can help reduce inflammation.
Juices have vitamins C, A, and antioxidants that help skin health by reducing oxidative stress and boosting collagen production. This makes skin look clearer and younger.
You should eat a lot of fruits and vegetables every day, but juicing is a quick and easy way to get the nutrients your body needs.
I always put spinach, kale, celery, cucumber, parsley, and lemon in my homemade juice.

5. Go barefoot
Earthing, or grounding, is when you let your bare skin touch the ground directly. Walking barefoot in the sand, dirt, or grass is the easiest way to do this.
Grounding can help lower inflammation by encouraging electrons to flow from the ground into the body. This gets rid of free radicals, which are a major cause of inflammation. This can help with long-term pain and inflammatory diseases like arthritis.
Some people think that grounding helps the body’s circadian rhythm by syncing it with the natural electrical frequencies of the earth. This helps you sleep better and longer, and it also helps with insomnia or other sleep problems.
Grounding has been shown to lower cortisol levels, which is the body’s main stress hormone. This can help with stress, anxiety, and feelings of being overwhelmed. It can help you feel calm and relaxed.

Conclusion
The secret to living a healthy life is to make simple, healthy habits. You will get healthier as you make more of these habits.
In short, drink more water, get some sun every day, walk every day, drink fresh juice, and let your bare skin touch the ground.
These are all very easy habits that don’t take much time. Four of them are even free!
I know from experience that changing to a healthy lifestyle isn’t always easy. But it is worth it 100%. I swear!
