Ingredients

  • 160 Basmati rice
  • 250 strained tomatoes
  • 100 peas
  • peppers
  • 450 ml vegetable stock
  • 350 chicken breast fillet
  • teaspoons salt
  • tsp sweet paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper or hot paprika
  • cloves of garlic
  • onion

preparation

  • Peel the onion and garlic and dice finely.

  • Cut the peppers into small cubes.

  • Cut chicken breast fillets into pieces about 1cm in size.

  • Heat olive oil in a high pan/pot.

  • Fry the onion cubes in it.

  • Add peppers and chicken and fry for another 2 minutes.

  • Then add the spices and garlic and fry briefly.

  • Now add the rice and peas and deglaze with the tomatoes and vegetable stock.

  • Cover and simmer gently for about 14 minutes until the rice is cooked.

  • Season to taste and enjoy.
