Tips and Variations

Use a fresh apple! Granny Smith, Fuji, or Honeycrisp are the best.

Want it to be even creamier? Put in 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt or cottage cheese.

You can use almond, oat, or coconut milk instead of milk.

Add more sugar! Add an extra frozen banana or 1/2 tablespoon of honey.

Add a little nutmeg to get the taste of real apple pie.

No banana? To make it thicker, use 1/2 cup of frozen cauliflower.

Want more crunch? Before serving, mix in some toasted pecans or walnuts.

Want more pie taste? Add a teaspoon of crumbs from graham crackers.

Enjoy it best when it’s fresh!

If you make it ahead of time, you can keep it in the fridge for up to 24 hours and shake it before drinking.
