This Blueberry Almond Protein Smoothie is for you if you like smoothies that are creamy and nutty with a blast of fresh blueberries. It has a lot of protein, is thick, and tastes sweet on its own, so it’s a great drink for breakfast or after a workout.

  • 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
  • ½ cup of frozen blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon of almond butter

  • ½ frozen banana (for natural sweetness)
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • ½ cup of ice cubes

For toppings (optional but tasty!):

  • More blueberries
  • Almonds cut into slices
  • A drizzle of almond butter

Preparation

Step 1

Put milk, vanilla protein powder, frozen blueberries, frozen banana, almond butter, sliced almonds, vanilla essence, and ice cubes in a blender.

Step 2

Blend on high for 30 seconds, or until the mixture is thick and creamy.
