Tips and Variations
Cold brew makes coffee taste better. If you use regular brewed coffee, chill it first so it doesn’t melt the ice too quickly.
Want it creamier? Change the milk to half-and-half or a splash of vanilla creamer. ✔
Change how sweet it is. Apple cider and caramel make it sweeter, so taste it before adding more sugar.
Make it look nice. The glass has a cinnamon-sugar rim that makes it especially distinctive. Just dip the edge in caramel and then in cinnamon sugar.
- No cold brew? Brew a strong cup of coffee, let it cool, then refrigerate it.
- Dairy-free? Use almond milk, oat milk, or coconut milk.
- Extra caffeine? Add an espresso shot!
- Warm version? Skip the ice, heat everything together, and serve it warm.
Make Ahead & Storage
Make the coffee ahead: Brew and chill your coffee the night before.
Mix the apple cider, caramel, and cinnamon ahead of time so it’s ready to go.
Best fresh! This drink is best enjoyed immediately.
Want to get it ready? Before you start making the drink, mix the apple cider, caramel, and cinnamon together and put them in the fridge. When ready, just add coffee, milk, and ice.
