It’s bubbly, sweet, and great for parties.
We can do this in less than a minute!

- 4 ounces of chilled champagne or prosecco
- One small handful of cotton candy in any color
- 1 teaspoon of sanding sugar (optional, for the rim)
- Flute for champagne
- Small plate for rimming (if you use sugar)
- Spoon for putting sugar on top
Instructions
Step 1: Optional: Rim the Glass
Put a little water on the rim of your champagne flute, then cover it with sanding sugar.
Step 2: Add the candy made of cotton
Put a small amount of cotton candy in the empty champagne glass.

Step 3: Pour the champagne
Slowly pour 4 ounces of cold champagne over the cotton candy. Watch as it dissolves and makes a bubbly, colorful effect.
Step 4: Add a garnish and serve
Add a small piece of cotton candy to the edge of the glass right before you serve it for extra fun.
Tips & Variations
- Drink prosecco or dry champagne! It makes the cotton candy less sweet.
- Don’t add the cotton candy yet! If you drop it too soon, it will melt before the fun starts.
- Want more shine? Before you pour, put sugar or edible glitter around the rim of the glass.
- Don’t add any alcohol! Instead, drink Sprite, ginger ale, or sparkling water.
- Give it your all! For a fun twist, try flavored cotton candy.
- No drinking? Use club soda or sparkling grape juice.
- More fruity? Add a little bit of berry or orange juice.
- More sweet? Put a little vanilla syrup in the glass before you add the champagne.
Fresh is the best way to eat it! If you’re making a lot, keep the champagne cold and add the cotton candy right before serving.

That’s all there is to it! Your Cotton Candy Champagne is ready to drink. It’s sweet, bubbly, and a real showstopper for any party. Give it a shot, snap a picture, and tell me how it went. Cheers! 🥂✨
