Gooey Bars Made using Yellow Cake Mix

- ○ 16.5 ounces of yellow cake mix
- ○ 2 eggs
- ○ 1/2 cup of melted butter
- ○ 8 oz. softened cream cheese
- ○ 2 eggs
- ○ 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
How to do it
- Mix the cake mix, melted butter, and two eggs together. Then, press the mixture into a buttered 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
- Mix up the cream cheese, two eggs, and powdered sugar until they are all mixed in.

- Spread on the cake batter.
- Cook for 35 minutes at 350 degrees F, or until golden brown. Don’t bake too long.
- Serve by cutting into individual bars.
There are two layers in these cream cheese bars. The recipe says to prepare the first layer, spread it out in the pan, and then make the second layer. We use the same bowl for both layers. You don’t have to wash any extra dishes.
