Additional Tips and Serving Suggestions

Meat: I like to use ground turkey in my Asian meatballs recipe because it has less fat than other types of meat. You may always use ground pig, chicken, or beef instead of turkey if you’re worried that your meatballs will be too dry. Just remember that those meats contain more fat.

I suggest using panko bread crumbs since they make the Asian-style meatballs crispier.

Rice vinegar is sweeter than white vinegar, which is harsh and acidic. Rice vinegar contains a little bit of sweetness and acidity that goes well with Asian cuisines. In this recipe for Asian meatballs, I don’t think you should use white vinegar instead.

I prefer to put these Asian-style meatballs on top of rice or noodles. If you want to add something extra to your meal, serve your Asian meatballs with this Egg Roll in a Bowl. It goes well with the Asian tastes in the meatballs and is a fantastic way to get some vegetables.
