But partly because the small clusters of chocolate-covered strawberries looked so good. I had to see what all the fuss was about for myself!

I can tell you that they did not let me down! I now get why these are so popular on TikTok and have become a real social media hit.

They taste sweet, creamy, tangy, crunchy, and look great too. See how rosy it is? Plus, they’re great when you want something lighter but still want rich ice cream. I really like these!

Why You’ll Love Them

This is why you will too:

I mean, if Greek yogurt is one of the key ingredients in anything, it has to be good for you, right? That’s right! At least that’s what I think. In any case! These chocolate-covered clusters are full of healthy things like fruit with fiber, honey without refined sugar, and yogurt with a lot of protein. It’s the best frozen treat to consume in the summer when you don’t want to feel bad about it. Or even better, all year long!

Few Ingredients

This easy dish just needs six things! This is definitely one of those recipes with a small list of ingredients that won’t break the wallet. You won’t need anything special!

Creamy yogurt mixed with strawberries that are just the right amount of sweet and tangy, all wrapped up in rich chocolate, is pretty much a sure thing. You can’t go wrong with this! This treat is very good.

This frozen delicacy is easy to make because you don’t have to bake or cook it. Which is always a good thing in my book. You really just have to mix, scoop, freeze, and dip. It’s as easy as pie.

Ingredients

Ingredients for Chocolate Strawberry Yogurt Clusters

There are several reasons why this tasty delicacy went viral! One of these is the very small list of easy-to-find ingredients needed to prepare them.

You don’t need much to make frozen yogurt clusters—just the yogurt you like, fresh strawberries, and chocolate. I added a few extra things to make them seem better, but if you want them to be really plain, you can leave them out.

  • Fresh and tasty whole strawberries are the main attraction of this presentation. You will cut them up and measure out 1.5 cups.
  • You will also need one cup of yogurt. I use plain yogurt, but you may use any kind of yogurt you want. You might choose a flavored one, like strawberry yogurt for a burst of strawberry taste, or a plain vanilla yogurt for an extra tasty treat.
  • Honey: This healthful snack needs just the proper amount of sweetness, which is what 1 tablespoon of honey does. If you don’t want the yogurt to taste sour, you can add a little extra.
  • Vanilla Extract: For more taste, add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
  • Chocolate: For the chocolate coating on these clusters, I use 1 cup of semi-sweet small chocolate chips. You can use any kind of chocolate you choose. Maybe white or dark chocolate!
  • Coconut Oil: When you melt the chocolate, add 2 tablespoons of refined coconut oil to it. This helps make the chocolate coating very thin and smooth!

Instructions: Let’s Get Started!

Let’s get started with cooking! In this scenario, this no-bake dessert recipe… Let’s combine and freeze!

To make these frozen strawberry yogurt bites with chocolate, you need to do four things: mix, scoop, freeze, and coat!

You won’t have to do much to make a healthy, no-bake dessert in no time. I think the hardest part is dipping the chocolate, but I’ve included all my best tips in the Expert Tips section to make it easy for you guys!

Step 1: Mix the yogurt together.

Put the cut strawberries, plain Greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla essence in a big bowl. Mix well.

Step 2: Get some yogurt.

To make the clusters, put about 2 tablespoons of the yogurt mixture on a baking sheet or large dish lined with parchment paper. You should be able to build ten groups.

Step 3: Put the clusters in the freezer.

Then put the baking sheet with the yogurt clusters in the freezer. Put them in the freezer for 1 to 2 hours, or until they are totally frozen and hard.

Step 4: Melt the chocolate.

Melt the chocolate after the clusters have frozen. Put the chocolate chips and coconut oil in a bowl that can go in the microwave. Microwave for 15 to 30 seconds at a time, stirring after each one, until the chocolate is melted.

Step 5: Dip the yogurt balls.

Take the frozen yogurt clusters out of the freezer and delicately dip each one into the melted chocolate. I suggest using a spoon to make sure that each cluster is completely covered. For extra guidance, look at the Expert Tips area. Put each cluster back on the baking sheet after you cover it in chocolate. If you want, you can also add a little sea salt.

Step 6: Set it up and enjoy!

Put the clusters back in the freezer for a few minutes to make sure the chocolate hardens and the yogurt gets a little bit firmer. Have fun!

Variations & Customizations

These chocolate strawberry clusters are delicious as they are, but you can always make them better! Here are some ways you could change things to fit your requirements or tastes:

  • Different Fresh Fruit: You may easily make these clusters with any fruit you like! If I were to choose something else, I would create blueberry yogurt clusters with fresh blueberries instead of strawberries. This version has also been very popular on social media! You might also use another berry, such blackberries or raspberries. Or you could completely change things up and try chopped cherries or peaches.
  • Vegan: This simple dessert is great for vegans! Use pure maple syrup instead of honey and a plant-based yogurt instead of regular yogurt. Then be sure to use dark chocolate chips or semi-sweet chips that don’t have any dairy in them.
  • Reduced Sugar: It’s easy to keep these chocolate clusters reduced in sugar too. Don’t use honey; instead, use chocolate chips with no sugar added. You may also put less chocolate, like just a little bit on top, or none at all.
  • Add-Ins: This is where the fun begins! There are so many great things you could add to the yogurt mixture in these clusters:
    • Chips of chocolate
    • Nuts that have been chopped
    • Almond Butter, Peanut Butter, Granola, Shredded Coconut, and Caramel Sauce

Expert Tips

  • Make sure to cover the bottom of the clusters with parchment paper before freezing them. If not, they might get stuck, which would make everything messier and harder.
  • Make the clusters tiny so that freezing and dipping them in chocolate is easier and goes more smoothly. They will freeze faster and be easier to move!
  • Chocolate Dipping Tips: For some reason, this part is always hard for me. Even in my other chocolate-covered snacks, like Cookie Dough Bites and Puppy Chow Truffles.
    • Wait until the yogurt clusters are totally frozen before dipping.
    • Put the chocolate in a small basin and let it melt. This will make the melted chocolate thicker, which I think is preferable for dipping.
    • Don’t forget the coconut oil! This makes the chocolate thin, smooth, and runny. Which one is superior for dipping?
    • Dip in groups. When you start dipping the chocolate, I don’t think you should take all of the yogurt clusters out of the freezer. I notice that by the time I reach to the last few clusters, they have started to melt. Which is a big mess! Instead, I take 3 to 4 clusters out of the freezer at a time, dip them, and then put them back in the freezer. Then I keep going with the process.

Storage & Preservation

How should I preserve this recipe? I suggest putting any extra chocolate strawberry bites in an airtight jar in the freezer. Give them a few minutes to thaw before you eat them.

I don’t think you should keep it in the fridge. When I do this, the clusters turn into a gooey mass.

Nutrition and Health

Is this recipe good for you? Yes! I’m not a nutritionist or dietitian, but I think these clusters are a fantastic nutritious snack or dessert.

They are produced with healthy things like plain Greek yogurt with a lot of protein, honey without processed sugar, and fresh strawberries!

I think it’s great that each cluster has roughly 160 calories and 2 grams of protein. They are a terrific choice instead of the usual frozen desserts that are loaded in sugar and calories.
