You have to try this easy passion fruit tea if you like fruity, cool drinks.

It’s easy to prepare at home and tastes sweet and sour.
Great for hot days, family gatherings, or any time you need a boost.
It tastes just like the fancy café versions, but it’s a lot cheaper and better!
Let’s do it! 🍹✨
Things You’ll Need

- Medium-sized pot for making tea
- Strainer (for removing seeds)
- Pitcher
- Spoon for stirring
- Knife & cutting board
- ◯ 4 cups of water
- ◯ 2 passion fruits (or 1/2 cup of passion fruit pulp)
- ◯ Two bags of black or green tea
- ◯ 2 to 3 tablespoons of sugar or honey (to taste)
- ◯ ½ lemon, sliced (optional, for more tang)
- ◯ Cubes of ice
- ◯ Fresh mint (to decorate)
How to Make Passion Fruit Tea
Step 1: Brew the Tea
Boil 4 glasses of water, then remove from heat and add the tea bags. Let it steep for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags and let cool.
Step 2: Prepare the Passion Fruit

Cut passion fruits in half and scoop out the pulp into a basin. If you don’t like the seeds, filter the juice.
Step 3: Mix Everything Together
In a pitcher, add the cooled tea, passion fruit pulp (strained or unstrained), and honey. Stir thoroughly.
Step 4: Serve on Ice
Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour the passion fruit tea over them, then add lemon slices and mint as a garnish. Have fun!
Helpful Tips
- Tea Choice Matters: Black tea has a stronger flavor, while green tea has a lighter, more floral flavor. Try them both!
- Add sugar or honey to taste. Start with little and add more as needed. Passion fruit is naturally sour!
- Strain It or Keep the Seeds? If you don’t like the crispy seeds, take them out before mixing.
- Chill for Best Flavor: To keep the tea from getting watered down, let it cool all the way down before adding ice.
- Add some fizz by replacing some of the water with sparkling water.
Substitutions & Variations
- No passion fruit? Use mango or pineapple juice for a similar tropical vibe.
- No honey? Swap with agave syrup, maple syrup, or simple syrup.
- Iced Tea Version – Brew a stronger tea, let it cool, then serve over ice.
- Milk Tea Twist – Add a dash of milk or coconut milk for a creamy variation.
Make-Ahead Tips
Brew the tea and blend with passion fruit in advance, then store it in the fridge for up to 2 days. Just add ice before serving!
Storing and Using Leftovers
Store leftover tea in the fridge for up to 2 days in a covered pitcher.
Give it a good swirl before serving, since the pulp may settle.

That’s it—easy, refreshing, and very wonderful!
