Unicorn Fudge Recipe

I woke up early this morning feeling great after a good night’s sleep. I got up and cleaned the kitchen, did some laundry, had a cup of tea, and prepared a batch of unicorn fudge while everyone else was still asleep.
You know, the normal things you do on a Sunday morning.
Ingredients

- 800 g of sugar for icing
- 10 tablespoons of condensed milk
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- 100 g of softened butter
- food coloring (I used red, blue, and green)
- Sprinkles
Instructions
- Mix the vanilla essence, butter, and condensed milk together.
- Add the icing sugar and mix it well with an electric mixer. You could do it by hand, but it will take a lot longer and your arm will hurt a lot!
- You can start mixing it with your hands when it starts to appear like breadcrumbs.
- Cut the mix into three balls and add a few drops of food coloring to each one. I put red in one ball, blue in another, and green in the last one. Then I squished each one to spread the color evenly.

- Add a handful additional icing sugar if you think the batter is getting too wet.
- It’s hard to explain the following step, but you need to put together your Unicorn Fudge. I used a small (18 cm x 30 cm) silicone baking tray for my fudge. I cut the red ball of fudge into five smaller balls and spread them out randomly in the pan. I performed the same thing with the blue and then used the green to fill in any spaces. Then I used my hands to squash it all down really hard to make sure that it was all stuck together and would set as one piece instead of breaking apart where the colors touched.
- You can then push a bunch of sprinkles into the top and put it in the freezer for an hour to set. I do this since I don’t want to wait for it to set in the fridge overnight.
- You may then cut it to the right size and put it in the fridge until you need it. I don’t know how long it lasts because we’ve never had a batch last more than five days before it’s eaten, but I can say that it definitely lasts that long.

Conclusion
This Unicorn Fudge recipe is fun to prepare with kids and would make a terrific gift or a cute addition to a party buffet because it tastes excellent and looks even better. Miss Frugal would have enjoyed this at any of her frilly birthday parties, but now she’s too cool for that kind of thing!
