FAQs

Can I make this casserole in advance?

Of course! Put it together the night before and store it in the fridge until you’re ready to bake.

Is it okay to freeze it?

Yes. First, bake it, then let it cool, cut it up, and freeze it. Put it back in the oven or microwave to heat it up.

Can this be made without dairy?

If you don’t want dairy, use non-dairy cheese and coconut cream instead.

What if I want it to be more “carnivore”?

For a cheeseburger casserole that is carnivore style, don’t include any vegetables. Just use meat, cheese, eggs, and bacon.

Does it heat up well?

So good! I put it in my lunch the next day, and it’s just as good.

For more richness or tang, add cream cheese or chopped pickles. Perfect for meal prep on the keto diet; you may store portions for up to three months.
