Why This Recipe Works

These No-Bake Peanut Butter Oat Cups are a simple and healthy treat that only needs a few things to make. These are great for a snack or dessert. They have creamy peanut butter, oats, and a little bit of chocolate in them, so you don’t have to bake them. Perfect for days when you need something sweet and healthy but don’t have a lot of time!
Ingredients

- 1 cup of rolled oats
- 1/2 cup of peanut butter that is not processed
- 1/4 cup of honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 cup of dark chocolate chips (optional for topping)
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract (optional)
- A pinch of salt (if you’re using unsalted peanut butter)
Directions
- Put the oats, peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla essence, and a bit of salt in a bowl and mix them together. Mix everything together until it’s sticky and properly combined.
- Put the mixture into a mini muffin tin and press down hard to make cups. Use cupcake liners or a silicone muffin tray to make it easy to get the muffins out of the tin.
- Put the chocolate chips in a bowl that can go in the microwave and heat them up for 15 seconds at a time, stirring in between, until they are smooth. Drizzle or distribute a little melted chocolate on top of each cup of oats.
- Put the muffin tray in the fridge for at least an hour so the cups can harden. Take it out of the tin once it’s set and enjoy!

Additional Notes

Storage: Keep in the fridge in an airtight container for up to a week or in the freezer for longer.
Add-Ins: For more texture and nutrients, try adding shredded coconut, chia seeds, or crushed nuts.
Alternatives to Nut Butter: If you don’t like peanut butter, you can use almond or cashew butter instead.
