Apple Iced Tea

This Apple Iced Tea is great if you want a cool, refreshing drink with a fruity flavor.
It’s a little sweet, a little sour, and really easy to create.
Plus, it tastes a lot better than store-bought iced tea because it doesn’t have any strange additives, just actual ingredients.
You can cook a lot for the whole family or just enough for you.
No matter what, this drink is great!

How to Brew Iced Apple Tea

Step 1: Boil water and make the tea.
Put 4 cups of water in a medium pot and bring it to a boil. Take off the heat and add the bags of black tea. Take the bags out after 5 minutes of steeping.
Step 2: Put in some apple juice and honey
Mix in the honey while the tea is still heated so that it melts. Mix in the apple juice and stir well.
Step 3: Let it cool and chill
Let the tea get down to room temperature before pouring it into a pitcher. Put it in the fridge for at least an hour to cool all the way down.
Step 4: Put apple slices on top of the ice
Put ice cubes in glasses and pour the cold tea over them. A couple fresh apple slices and a sprig of mint will make it seem better.

The Best Apple Iced Tea: Pro Tips
- Use apple juice that is fresh! It tastes very different from concentrated juice.
- Make sure to steep your tea exactly right. If you leave it too long, it gets bitter. If you leave it too short, it gets weak. Try to get five minutes.
- Cool it down well. Let this tea sit in the fridge for at least an hour so that it gets really cold.
- Try a few different kinds of apples. Granny Smith apples offer a tart kick, while Honeycrisp apples make it sweeter.
- Add bubbles to it. For a fun change, use sparkling water instead of half the apple juice.
Changes and Substitutions
- If you want a lighter, smoother taste, switch from black tea to green tea.
- If you’re vegan, use maple syrup instead of honey.
- To make it effervescent, use club soda instead of half of the apple juice.
- For a cozy, spiced variation, add ginger or cinnamon.
Tips for Making Ahead
- Make the tea a day ahead of time and pour in the honey and apple juice so the tastes can combine.
- You may keep it in the fridge for up to three days. Just stir it well before serving!
Storage and leftovers
- You may keep it in the fridge for up to three days in a pitcher with a lid.
- Don’t store it with ice because it will make the flavor weaker. Instead, put ice in the glasses when you serve them.
