A strawberry daiquiri is the best way to feel like you’re on a tropical vacation without leaving your kitchen.

This dish is so easy and so good that you may use it for a family BBQ, a cozy dating night, or simply to indulge yourself.
You may make it kid-friendly by leaving out the alcohol, or you can add a touch of rum for the adults.
This is something I’ve made a lot of times, and it always goes over well. Strawberries that are juicy, a little lemony, and a little sweet—it’s like summer in a glass!
Ingredients and Equipment

- 2 cups of fresh strawberries, hulled
- Juice from two teaspoons of fresh lime
- Sugar or simple syrup (2 to 3 tablespoons, to taste)
- 1 1/2 cups of ice cubes
- White Rum (optional; 1/3 cup for the adult version)
- Water (2 to 4 teaspoons for mixing, if needed)
- A knife and cutting board for the blender
- Spoons and cups for measuring
- Glasses for serving
Preparation Steps
Prepare strawberries: Hull and freeze them ahead of time so you’re always ready to combine.
Pre-Mix: Mix everything together except the ice and put it in the fridge. Mix in the ice shortly before serving.
1. Get your ingredients ready.
Take the hull off the strawberries, squeeze the lime, and measure everything out.
2. Mix the strawberries together.
Put the strawberries, lime juice, sugar (or syrup), water, and rum (if using) in the blender. Mix until smooth.

3. Put in the ice
Add the ice cubes a bit at a time and mix until the mixture is slushy and smooth. If it’s too thick, add a little water.
4. Serve and decorate
Pour the daiquiri into glasses and top each one with a slice of strawberry, a wedge of lime, and a sprig of mint. Serve right away!

Tips and Variations
- Want it extra thick? Use frozen strawberries. Before you make your drink, freeze the strawberries and don’t add ice cubes.
- Add sugar to taste: Start with less sugar and add more if your strawberries are sweet.
- Puree in Stages: First, puree the strawberries. Then, add ice in small amounts so that your blender doesn’t get too full.
- For a fun, kid-friendly version of Go Mocktail, use sparkling water or a dash of apple juice instead of rum.
- Presentation: Add a strawberry and lime slice on top to make it look more fancier.
- You can use honey, agave, or stevia instead of sugar.
- Fruit Twist: For a delightful flavor mix, add pineapple, mango, or raspberries.
- Add a little coconut milk to make it creamy and dairy-free. It will give it a tropical flavor.
- No alcohol: Don’t use rum; use additional ice or sparkling water instead.
- You can keep any leftover daiquiri (without ice) in the fridge for up to a day. Before serving, mix it again with new ice.
There you go: your own fresh, flavorful strawberry daiquiri! This recipe will make your day brighter right away, whether you’re drinking it by the pool or at the kitchen table.
