Tips and Notes

  • For the most fluffy Dalgona topping, use instant coffee.
  • Don’t stir the batter too much if you want your doughnuts to be exceptionally soft.
  • Before putting the whipped coffee topping on the doughnuts, let them cool all the way down.
  • Add 1 more teaspoon of boiling water if the Dalgona coffee is too thick.
  • Keeping the topping fluffy means putting leftovers in the fridge.
  • Fresh is best!
  • It can be kept in the fridge for up to two days.
  • Add the Dalgona topping immediately before serving to keep it fluffy if you’re preserving it.
