What You Will Need

- 2 ounces of cherry juice, either fresh or from the store
- 1 ounce of gin (or vodka for a milder flavor)
- ½ ounce elderflower liqueur, such as St-Germain
- ½ oz of fresh lemon juice
- ½ oz of honey syrup (honey and warm water mixed together)
- 2–3 ounces of sparkling water (for the fizz!)
- Cubes of ice
For decoration:
- Slices of cherry that are thin
- A lemon twist or edible cherry blooms
Things You Will Need
- Shaker for cocktails
- A tall glass
- Measuring cup
- Spoon for mixing
How to do it

- Make the syrup out of honey
In a small glass, mix equal parts honey and warm water until smooth. - Put the stuff in the shaker
Put cherry juice, gin, elderflower liqueur, lemon juice, and honey syrup in a cocktail shaker. - Shake with ice
Put ice cubes in the shaker, close it, and shake it hard for 10 to 15 seconds. - Pour and strain
Pour the cocktail through a strainer into a large glass with fresh ice. - Put in the fizz
Add sparkling water on top for a fizzy, cool finish. - Add the garnish and serve
Add thin slices of cherry and a delicate edible cherry blossom to the rim as a garnish.
Helpful Tips
- Use juice from fresh cherries! It adds the best natural color and flavor.
- Want it to taste better? Put in an extra half ounce of honey syrup.
- No elderflower liqueur? Instead, use a dash of orange liqueur or simple syrup.
- Make it without booze! Instead of gin, use additional sparkling water and a splash of white grape juice.
- Put cherries in the freezer and use them as ice cubes for an additional chill!
Changes and substitutions
- No booze? Instead of gin, use sparkling lemonade.
- More flowers? Put in a few drops of hibiscus tea or rose water.
- More sour? Add more lemon juice to make the flavor sharper.
Storing and using leftovers
Enjoy it best while it’s fresh!
If you’re making it ahead of time, mix everything together except the sparkling water and ice. Then, put it in the fridge to cool and add the fizz before serving.

That’s all there is to it; your Cherry Blossom Fizz is ready to drink! It’s light and floral, making it great for springtime parties or a calm afternoon. Give it a shot, snap a picture, and tell me how it went.Cheers! 🍒🌸✨
