Whether you pressed snooze one too many times this morning, lost track of time pinning all of the fabulous hairstyles from my Chance of Fabulous Hair board on Pinterest, or spent the last 45 minutes dealing with The Trying Threes, this quick and easy running late hairstyle is just what you need to make yourself look and feel glamorous today!
STEP 1 – Spray a generous amount of dry shampoo all over your hair to soak up any excess grease and oil and add the texture and volume needed for it to hold a style.
STEP 2 – Brush your hair thoroughly to ensure all of the dry shampoo is evenly distributed and any knots are removed. I prefer to use my Genie Supreme brush from Knot Genie for this step as it does a fantastic job of detangling my hair quickly and painlessly.
STEP 3 – Pull your hair back into a low ponytail.
STEP 4 – Separate hair just above ponytail holder and feed ponytail though.
STEP 5 –Play around with hair until ponytail holder is covered and hair feels secure.
STEP 6 – Separate hair just above ponytail holder and feel ponytail though a second time.
STEP 7 – Once again, play around with hair until ponytail holder is covered and hair feels secure.
STEP 8 – Smooth hair by spraying a little hairspray onto your brush and lightly combing the top and sides of your hair. I like to use my Teeny Genie by Knot Genie for this step as it does an excellent job of giving my hair that polished look I love without pulling out extra strands of hair or leaving unwanted lumps and bumps.
STEP 9 – Curl any strands of hair that have escaped throughout the styling process and spray your entire head with hairspray.
STEP 10 – You’re done!
