Makeup and makeup brushes have been my thing for as long as I can remember, but no matter how hard I try, I’ve never been able to make my face nearly as glamorous as the gals that work at my local beauty store.
For a long time, I thought it was the quality of my beauty products since I tend to opt for drugstore makeup over higher end brands, but after spending a ton of time on YouTube, trying out different techniques, and experimenting with different brands and price points, I’ve learned that it’s my application techniques (or lack thereof) that are the problem.
And that’s where Wayne Goss comes in.
I have been watching his makeup tutorials for years, and this one in particular has made a huge different in my morning routine.
The colors he uses are great for daytime looks, but with a couple of darker shades, you can definitely dress this up for a night out with the gals.
I highly recommend using one of the Urban Decay Naked palettes when trying out the techniques in this tutorial (the Original Naked Eyeshadow Palette is my favorite) because they offer a huge selection of colors, are extremely easy to work with, and give you fabulous bang for your buck!
